Support: Near Me Alerts
Alerts are an exclusive feature available in the ClipZone mobile app. Alerts let you know when you’re near a retailer with a coupon you are interested in. Whenever the ClipZone mobile app is open on your phone, you can receive alerts for coupons matching selected categories and nearby retailers.
Alerts Can Be Found in Near Me
The last 24 hours of alerts can be viewed by clicking on the ALERTS button in Near Me. When new alerts are available, the ALERTS button turns red. Also, a badge appears on the Near Me icon telling you how many new alerts are available.
Set Up Alerts
To use Alerts, set up Alert categories and retailers in Settings.
Keep ClipZone Open
Alerts work based on your GPS location, so you must keep ClipZone open to receive alerts. Once you’ve set up Alerts, you can move around with the ClipZone app running to be alerted about all the great coupons in your area.
Alert Method
On the Alerts screen, you can select how you want to be alerted: vibration, audio or silent mode. In silent mode, a badge will appear on the Near Me icon whenever you have new alerts. You can also use Settings on the website or in the ClipZone mobile app to choose the alert method.
